Age: 16 | Height: 5'0 (5'2 w/ heels) | ???: Possibly "double jointed" Nei is an orphan who kills entities called, "Maga" which you can read more about here. The basic overview is that they're beast formed from the remains of living creatures and feed off the living to continue their existence. Some may liken this to demons, supernatural, or other types of occult beings. Her blood seems to have a unique property that draws in those creatures, and she even mentions that it "tastes" better than the blood of others. Nei is athletic, short, and typically carries around two katana style swords with her. Lively and energetic, Nei seems to always have the time to boast about her accomplishments and demand praise for her achievements. Despite "never taking a day off," she never seems to slow down, and always insists on being an overachiever. She's prideful, confident, knowledgeable in her field, and quick to anger. Her volatile personality can change from "surprisingly mature" to "childish" in a blink, and this is likely due to the loss of her family a decade prior to the series.

Double Jointed

Given the way Yuto Sano likes to vary anatomy it's possible that the way Nei's elbow sits in the above image is on purpose. This is called "hyper extension" and is also known as being "double jointed". Hyper extension is a part of being hyper mobile.
